This 7 Days Uganda safari with gorillas and chimpanzee trekking tour takes you to western Uganda where you will be able to track the gentle giant gorillas and see the big five.
Day 1:<\/strong> Arrival and transfer to hotel in Entebbe
Arrival at Entebbe and transfer to your hotel in Entebbe for your overnight stay at: Papyrus Guesthouse (B.B)
Day 2:<\/strong> Drive to Kibale national park.
After breakfast, our safari driver will brief you about the 8 days adventure Uganda safari and then drive you westwards to Kibale national park. Upon your arrival check in to your lodge and then head out for a village walk in Bigodi swamp. During the village walk, you will also learn about the lifestyle of the Batooro and Bakiga people, visit the village primary school, church and also the traditional herbalist.
The guide will explain to you the history of Bigodi, as well as the role of women in the village. Then return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at

Day 3:<\/strong> Chimpanzee tracking – Transfer to Queen Elizabeth.
After breakfast drive to Kanyanchu visitor center for a briefing about chimpanzee tracking Thereafter join the park rangers as you track habituated chimpanzees in the forest. You will take an hour observing. taking photos and videos of these apes. Later have lunch and then drive to Queen Elizabeth national park.
Check in to your lodge and go for an Agro tour walk. However, this tour takes about 2 to 3 hours trail in the rural Katara village with a hike through farms of an escarpment During this walk, you will also see different bird species, medicinal plants as well as learn the local farming methods Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at

Day 4:<\/strong> Game drives and Boat ride along Kazinga channel
Morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth with higher chances of spotting the early risers like the cats, elephants, buffaloes, warthogs and more. Return to the lodge for hot lunch. In the afternoon enjoy a boat ride on Kazinga channel, which is an oasis for a number of wildlife species.
During the boat ride, you will have a closer view of elephants, buffaloes, and hippos as well as; various bird species like malachite kingfisher and saddle billed stork.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at:

Day 5:<\/strong> Drive to Bwindi and Batwa pygmies
In the morning you will drive to the Ishasha area the southern sector of the park as you look for the tree climbing lions, before transferring to Bwindi forest, Enjoy your drive through the tropical Savannah. This drive will boost your travel experience as you roll over the hills of western Uganda. Later head to the Bwindi impenetrable national park, check in to your lodge for lunch.
In the evening you will visit the Batwa pygmies community, interact with the pygmies, and listen to their interesting forest stories. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at

Day 6:<\/strong> Gorilla tracking and canoe ride*
This is the highlight of your 7 days Uganda safari. After breakfast, you will drive to the briefing area for gorilla trekking guidelines You will be assigned groups according to the Gorilla family led by park guides and rangers. The duration for your search is unpredictable as it is determined by the movements of the gorillas.
However, on finding the gentle giants, you will spend an hour with them, taking photographs, videos and observing their amazing way of life. After lunch drive to Lake Bunyonyi, check in to your hotel afterwards take a canoe ride to some of the islands. Interact with the local people in the islands as you move around some of the terraced plantations. Return to the lodge and watch the beautiful sunset on the Lake.

Day 7:<\/strong> Lake Bunyonyi – Departure
After breakfast at the lodge, you will check out then drive back to Kampala Stopover at the equator for the water experiment at Kayabwe. Then proceed to Kampala for next program. Later the driver will drop you at the Airport in time to catch your flight back home.
