The 3 Days Murchison falls safari transfers you to Uganda’s oldest conservation area and largest national park seated on a land expanse of 3,840 square kilometres that was gazetted in 1926 as a game reserve. This park is known as Murchison falls national park found in Masindi district in the north western part of Uganda.
Murchison Falls national park harbours a number of species including 76 animal or mammal species and 451 species of birds. The park is also known for The Murchison Falls, where the Victoria Nile River surges through a narrow gap over a massive drop thereby separating it into two (the northern and southern section).

Itinerary for the 3 Days Murchison falls safari.
Day 1: Travel to Murchison Falls national park – Visit the top of the falls.
After your breakfast meet up with our driver guide who briefs you about your 3 days safar, then you set off for your 6 hours journey to the great Murchison Falls national park.
Later on you will have a stopover in Masindi where you will have lunch, afterwards proceed to the park where you will begin with the first activity of visiting the top of the Murchison falls. Here you will also watch the magnificent falls squeezing through the rocks in an 8m gorge.
Later in the evening we drive you through the park trails as we head to your reserved hotel or lodge for dinner and overnight stay Along the way you will see a number of mammal species like the antelopes, buffaloes warthogs, water bucks, baboons, giraffes among others.
NB : Those who also opted for the rhino tracking experience will have a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for the memorable Rhino tracking, then proceed for lunch at Masindi. Here you will be able to see both the black and white rhinos.
Day 2: Game drive through the park – Boat cruise on the Victoria Nile* .
With day 2, you will wake up very early in the morning and have breakfast at around 6:30 am, afterwards your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge to start your morning game drive at around 7:00 am. The early morning game drive is highly recommended since it chances you to seeing the nocturnal animals and hunters before they return to their hideouts as well as the early risers.
During the drive you will be in position to see a number of animals such as baboons, elephants, lions, buffaloes, leopards, giraffes, warthogs, elephants, hyenas, antelopes, oribis, Jackson’s hartebeest, water bucks, among others and different bird species. After the game drive at around 11:40 am, we drive back to the lodge for lunch as you prepare for the afternoon boat cruise.
While on the boat cruise on the Victoria Nile, you will a variety animals like hippos, buffaloes, elephants and the Nile crocodiles along the banks of the Nile as well as different species of beautiful birds of these spotted in the trees singing and these include colored kingfishers, bee caters, shoe billed stork, among others. The boat ride will further take you to the bottom or base of the Murchison Falls for you to be able to see clearly the mighty waterfalls .
Day 3: Morning game drive and drop-off.
After your breakfast, immediately proceed for the last game drive and thereafter transfer back to Kampala or Entebbe international Airport or even your preferred drop-off point. Expect to have a stopover in Masindi for lunch.
