This 7 Days Uganda Primates and wildlife safari takes through Uganda’s famous tourist primate destinations including Kibale forest national park, Bwindi Impenetrable national park, among others. Your 7 days Uganda safari engages you in a number of activities including Chimpanzee tracking, gorilla trekking, game viewing in Queen Elizabeth national park and a memorable boat ride along the Kazinga channel.

Day 1: Travel to Kibale Forest national park.
Our driver guide will pick you up after your breakfast, briefs you about your 7 days Uganda safari then embark on your journey to Kibale Forest national park the Primate
capital of the World harbouring 13 species of primates including chimpanzees, baboons, Red colobus monkeys, L’hoest’s monkeys, among other and 300 species of birds.
Along the way, we shall drive through the beautiful sceneries of the south western region of Uganda, heading to the beautiful Fort portal town for our lunch en-route. After lunch proceed to checking in our reserved lodge for relaxation, dinners and overnight stay
Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking experience and a visit to Bigodi wetlands.
Immediately after your delicious breakfast, you will be transferred to the Kanyanchu information centre for briefing about the chimpanzee tracking guideline and the forest trails to take. Afterwards start away your chimpanzee tracking activity where you will trek through the forest trails in search for the chimpanzees and other primates that are always seen swinging in tree branches. Once you come across chimpanzees, you have an hour with them, take their pictures and learn about their behaviours.
In the afternoon after our lunch you will proceed for a nature walk in Bigodi wetland sanctuary where you will see a number of birds and other animals. Later drive back your lodge relaxation, dinner and overnight stay .
Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park.
After breakfast you may first have a Hature Walk in Kibble Forest or alternatively drive direct to Queen Elizabeth national park a medley of wonders with diverse ecosystems which include sprawling savannah sparkling lakes and fertile wetlands that make it ideal home for the big game .
This 3 hours’ journey drives you through Fort portal town, arriving in time and checking into our reserved lodge and thereafter enjoy our lunch. After lunch have some relaxation and thereafter embark on an evening game drive in the park where you will see a number of mammal species including elephants, giraffes, warthogs, antelopes, hyenas,
buffaloes, lions, among others. After the evening game drive return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Game viewing and boat ride along the Kazinga channel .
Your will have your breakfast very early in the morning so as to embark on an early morning game drives for chances of spotting the early risers in the Kasenyi track before they return back to their hideouts. You will see a number of wildlife species including the tree climbing lions, buffaloes, hyenas, antelopes, giraffes, warthogs, and many more.
Return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation. After lunch go for the boat cruise along the Kazinga channel that will increase your number of spotting including the a school of hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, and a variety of bird species including the saddle billed stork, malachite kingfishers, pink backed pelicans, to mention but a few. Afterwards return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park .
Early in the morning after breakfast, check out of the lodge and go for your next early morning game drive Later start our journey to Bwindi Impenetrable national park driving through the Ishasha plains which is commonly known for the tree climbing lions.
Expect a lunch en-route along the way and arrive at Bwindi Impenetrable national park a home to the endangered mountain gorillas in the evening. Check in your lodge for dinner and overnight stay
Day 6: Gorilla trekking experience and an optional Batwa community visit
After breakfast drive to the park headquarters for briefing on gorilla tracking guidelines that starts at 7:00am. Then set off for the gorilla tracking activity in the jungles of Bwindi Forest You will accompanied by an armed ranger and potters Once you spot a gorilla family, you will allowed to spend one hours interval with the gentle giant mountain
gorillas. After tracking go for the gorilla ceremony where you will be awarded a gorilla tracking certificate.
After, drive back to the lodge for relaxation and having lunch in the evening, you will visit batwa pygmies the traditional dwellers of the forest before gonfia tourism was introduced Later return back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7: Transfer back to Kampala or Entebbe
After an early breakfast check out of the lodge and drive back to Kampala or Entebbe International Airport driving through the rolling green hills. Expect lunch en-route along the way, and arrive late in the afternoon in Kampala or at your preferred drop off point.
